Political Pressure Increasing
Tensions are increasing between the NATO and Warsaw Pact member countries due to recent militarized mercenary activities in France. French sources indicate that a small team of what locals described as well trained mercenaries set fire to a Communist workers bunk house. No casualties were reported though sources are saying that the bodies of two men were removed before authorities intervened.Frank Danner, professor of Western Civilization and Russian History, weighed in on the recent events. "Thank you Diane. Based on recent and ancient history, The U.S.S.R. will not tolerate this blatant attack on their people. If history has shown us anything, they will be back with more men."
Meanwhile, politicians in Washington and London are urging their governments to ensure that every opportunity to stop the Red Threat. Make no mistake, agents of every government are expected to be active without fail.
Game Effect:
* Players may not voluntarily skip one of their two (2) Card Plays during their turn. They must, if possible, always make 2 card plays. If this is not possible due to emptying their hand, the second Card Play may be skipped.
